Transformers with amorphous core

Range of amorphous transformers by it´s innovatory technology can save with a reduced losses of up to approx. 16 000 CZK / year to operators of cogeneration units (valid for cogeneration units with an electrical capacity of 550 kW). With this reduction, expensively produced energy is not converted into heat unnecessarily, but is supplied to the distribution network and this energy can bring profit.

The new EU directive for transformers

This Regulation establishes ecodesign requirements for power transformers with a minimum rated power of 1 kVA used in electrical transmission and distribution networks with frequency of 50 Hz or for industrial applications. The regulation is valid only for transformers purchased after the entering the directive into force (from July 1, 2015). Oil distribution transformers will have reduced losses no load and load (P0 - A0 and PK - CK (1000 kVA) and BK (from 1000 kVA to 3150 kVA). This reduction in losses will have a significant impact on the final cost of the transformer.
